The details we gather
We collect only the details entered on a quote request: your name, email, phone number, the property postcode, and what you want the chargepoint for. Your browser runs the grant checkers and the cost calculator, and their answers never reach us. Page views and clicks are also counted, with no cookies and nothing that identifies you personally.
Our reason for collecting them
Your request goes to a single installer we work with that is OZEV-authorised, so they can reach you about a quote. Our lawful basis is consent, which you give when you send the request. That consent can be withdrawn at any time. The installer gives its name in its first email or call, with a link to its own privacy notice, and you can write to us at the address above to ask which installer received your request.
Keeping your details
A quote request is kept for 12 months and then deleted. What the installer needs for a quote or for work you agree to, they keep, following their own privacy notice.
Rights you have
To get a copy of the details we hold, to have them corrected or erased, or to object to how they are used, contact us in writing at the address above. If our answer leaves you unhappy, you can take your complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

No cookies are set by us. So that Back works, the checker keeps your last grant path choice in your browser's local storage; the data never leaves your device.
Our Terms of Use
The site serves as a general guide. Grant rules change, and the official scheme alone decides whether you get a grant, so confirm any amount or date on GOV.UK first. We accept no liability for choices made on the basis of this site, unless the law does not allow that limit.
A quote request does not commit you to anything and is not a grant application. Any chargepoint contract is between the installer and you.
